Wintering Shorebirds at Clam Pass
February 22, 2020 @ 8:00AM — 12:00PM Eastern Time (US & Canada)
Great place to see wintering shorebirds such as Black Skimmers and Wilson's Plovers
The 1/2-mile boardwalk runs through a mangrove forest of salt-tolerant red, white and black mangroves. It also has a tidal bay area that acts as a breeding ground and nursery for marine life, wildlife, specifically many species of birds. Clam Pass Park abounds with wading shorebirds, eagles, hawks and osprey.
