February 23, 2020 Field Trip

There are currently no tickets available for this event, but you can still make a donation.

If you can't attend this trip we are offering another one on January 23rd also. Be prepared to be amazed at all the night life that comes alive after the sun sets. You will see or hear owls, see fireflies, bats and so much more. You will be surprised how your eyes will adjust to the darkness in the preserve.

Wear shoes to wade in shallow water(NOT flip-flops) Bring your camera and learn how to photograph the nightlife or get some pointers from Dr. Jane. Her work is amazing!

Meet near lake, go by park office and take a left near the lake. Bring bug spray, a mosquito jacket if you have it, LED headlight flashlight with red light, and a camera with tripod and wide angle lens, water and snacks and be prepared to be amazed.

Trip Leader: Dr. Jane Ruprecht
