Fresh water marsh with grassy areas along the road. Usually waders, limpkins, eagles as well as sparrows and ducks. Bring lunch. Check our website to see if we will be able to drive or walk. In the early 1980's, LA-MSID transformed the farm into an active storm water facility, helping to filter water and reduce flooding to the Orange River. The water control structures have helped create a lush habitat for snail kites, limpkin and more than 140 species of animals.

Plan on at least an hour's drive from Naples.
