April 7, 2019 @ 7:30AM — 11:00AM Eastern Time (US & Canada)
A wooden boardwalk meanders around 50 acres of restored wetlands, lakes & viewing platforms.
Join us for an easy walk over a boardwalk loop through restored wetlands and paved trails around pond and uplands. Frequent wildlife sightings include red shouldered hawks, a barred owl, pileated woodpeckers, green herons, great blue herons, little blue herons, great white herons, racoons, gray squirrels, marsh rabbits, river otter, armadillos, alligators, turtles, snakes and frogs.
This is also our Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast. Please arrive at 7:30am prior to bird outing if you are an AWE volunteer.
